well, my car is no more… it was taken away today, so now i am truly a prisoner within this house.

so, yes, we all know i’m looking for a new server… nice powerful insanely wonderful all that jazz… well, i found an absolutely delicious deal… 1ghz p3, 512MB ram, 60GB/hd/bw… lots of ip addresses… etc. and the thing is that i’d actually have enough money for it… but i have bills to pay, and well, i’m really not ready as per income coming in… it’s sad… i want to grow… so badly… so i can do this! …blah.
…the birthday present for davey came today, very nice actually… was a bit impressed. ;)
i still feel like crap… bad headache, tis a shame.
i went out downtown this morning around 0730 or so… took a roll of photos to send off to lomo in switzerland, they’re basically just crappy architectural etceteras… but, still, should be fun. ;) i just hope they’ll honor the free developing since it’s kinda going to expire today. oops.
i’m off to the bank and to drop the filmbag into the post…
ya know… i really really really love davey… he’s the utmost in adorable, though sometimes i don’t think he believes me that he is so desirable, or something similar… hard to really show it being 2000ish miles away and all.

the primary purpose of this website is to have a place to park my journal and play around with new design ideas for other websites. my journal probably isn’t going to be much interest to people who don’t know me, my life isn’t too terribly exciting at the moment. The percentage of netscape users is below 10 percent according to my server logs, so due to the fact that netscape 4.77 will not show the background images correctly, cannot do alpha transparency, cannot render the dhtml/javascript window, basically destroying the general feel, i’m redirecting netscape users to a sorry page. it’s my perogative, this is my personal domain, i do my design how i want it to be. yes, i’m concerned with cross browser and cross platform compatibility when it comes to websites that aren’t my personal websites. Netscape 4.77 is archaic, and doesn’t support any of the newer technologies, it’s a shame.. but it’s the fact… I see tons of people bashing my website, for whatever reason… of course if you’re some random person the likelihood of your having interest is going to be low… surf on away happily to something that does maintain your attention and don’t bother posting how awful this is somewhere, esp when you’re posting about how i don’t like netscape users… i you do, goodie! if you don’t goodie! why do you care if i don’t? …i do not want someone using netscape to view my site, because they’re going to probably have diametricly oposed opinions on what they’d see here anyway.
