damn… okay, the router is /supposed/ to come today… at least according to guesstimation from the tracking info. so… d’oh, i hope it does, i suppose there is still some time, lol. …of course the @home people still didn’t call… damnit, i hate being at the mercy of other people.
you know, if any of you actually read this site on a regular basis, i really must appologize for the lack of anything interesting lately, but then again, that’s just my life right now though. I don’t particularly have a whole lot to say, so most everything is complaining, lol. …I do want to redesign the website, I have some retro 60’s sorts of ideas in mind, but since I’m working on so many projects that kind of are stuck in quicksand, it’s not really all that easy to do right now. I especially don’t want to give in to the horror of the typical one page layout, and don’t want to put up anything that isn’t quite as “quality” as this is, at least not in my opinion.
damn, i’m absolutely freezing. This is why i shouldn’t get up at 4am, eh? lol I had some paperwork to do of course, and why wait until it’s actually daytime? :-) I’m still mulling over an accelerated timeframe for getting the new webserver. I’m rapidly approaching the timeframe in which it becomes economically feasible to support it for the long run, which I never expected to be so soon. Though I really need to subdue my enthusiasm just a bit and make sure that I’m ready, hoping for a new server promotion of course.
and blah… we have the cable modem setup, to use ICS through my brother’s computer at the moment, since our router has been backordered. We ordered one from a different company now, so it should be here soon. Now the most painful thing about it is the ABSOLUTELY INSANE wait time for activation… 48 fucking hours?! that’s ridiculous. …so now i’m waiting on not only the router, my UPS, my RAM & CDROM, but also getting the activation information.
though i did get to talk to jake yesterday… which was quite nice actually… realizing how much i’ve missed him, and apparently likewise.
hmm, well, this is intersting… on a multitude of levels
well, i was walking around the streets in pittsburgh, i think in the more urban college area of oakland, go into an apartment, which apparently is mine? … i’m looking out the window though, and there is the remnants of a WTC sort of disaster (or at least it looks that way to me)… then i’m sleeping on the couch. Then rob and amir (which as we know would be impossible) come in.. so i’m gathering up some clothes/putting on socks etc… and a largish group of people come in… and i find myself sitting next to amir and talking to him on the other couch (across from the first)… and i think there are approx six people or so. I think even paul was there.

later then I’m sitting at the table with seryozha and rob talking about what went on the night before (when all those people were here)… orgy perhaps then? maybe i wasn’t there though…interesting and also rather reminiscent of the past.
hmm, i just remembered, i was also searching for boxer shorts when i got up from the couch, lol. …and was carrying my ibook everywhere!
