I’ve been trying to get gaim to compile from cvs… it just won’t cooperate.

I can’t get the autogen.sh to work at all! :(

I keep getting tons of duplicated macros…

I’ve figured that this has to do with .m4 files… but I happen to (For some unknown reason) have three versions of aclocal installed… aclocal, aclocal-1.4, and aclocal-1.5. THe autogen script wants both aclocal and aclocal-1.4 for some reason.

I really want to figure this out, but it’s seriously driving me a bit nutty.

Lol, so, my parents couldn’t think of anything good to make for dinner, so I decided to take them out for dinner.

We went to The Ground Round, it was quite good….

lol, this bartender girl.. at dinner…

she came up to me and told me that it was $3.00 martini night… and that I should try her “Pink Pussycat” … of course when I was listening… I stopped hearing after Pussy…

so I gave her this look like… well… the look only a gay man could give when being offered that… hahahaha, it was hilarious.

I had one though… it was good… ;) …though a bit like cherry coughsyrup, though not too much. It was funny, because she was all excited about it :)

So, yeah, 60 dollar dinner… fullness, yummy… I had steak and shrimp, lol, and a “Leapin’ Lizard” Margarita, in addition to that red martini.

I wore my leather pants! I love how they feel against my skin, hehe, it’s great!

There was a gay waiter boy there, err, well, waiter man, lol, he looked as though he had plugs in his lobes… but I never really got a close enough look.

It was an entertaining evening out though, it was like first name basis with the bartender girl, waitress, etc, instantly. :-)

I’m just overall annoyed tonight.

I’ve been fighting a linux problem (see tech)…

I’ve been bothered by anti-gay hateful bigoted bastards… online only, so it’s not as bad, but still has disgusting.

I think I’ll go make myself a tom collins.

the brightside of the day is that my new sexy netgear 100mbps ethernet switch came… it looks nice sitting on the corner of my desk.

i’ve been fighting trying to figure out why my computer freezes when I try to copy something from the redhat installation’s ext3 drive over to a ‘windows style’ fat32 filesystem… i’ve given up..

so I need to copy anything I want on the fat32 drive over to the ibook and then back onto the linux box… it crashes only on direct HD to HD transfer, but not when transferring the files to or from the HD.

Sometimes I hate linux… with a passion.

I’ve been rather busy over the last two days, all of yesterday and today thus far…. I wiped out suse and installed redhat 7.3… recompiling kernels (for fun, lol)… and various other bits and pieces of stuff. I’ve learned so much over the last two days about linux, it’s scary… I’ll probably stay a bit busy for the next couple of days as I compile more and more applications.
