I made my first cappucino tonight, it turned out quite well, despite basically exploding milk everywhere, lol… Not much else is going on really, lots of little planning for the 16th - 18th, cleaning, etc.

I meant to call this dentist this morning, but decided sleep was more important (shock), but I need to do that; want to find out how much it will cost to get my one tooth fixed.

I have no idea where any of the family is… I really hope the parents didn’t run off to Atlantic city, but considering that they aren’t here it’s very likely… I think David is getting part of his car fixed… and Matt is at work. I’m on my last cig and would really like to go out to Walmart… ran out of shampoo and bodywash stuff… and the prospect of real food is quite appealing.

I’ve been drooling over getting one of those Axis network cameras… the price has been reduced to $300, which is almost acceptable… of course I don’t think anyone here is missing my webcam… and if they were I could always get a firewire one for my iBook…

a little bit of an update:

I did a traditional midnight trip to walmart… got some various little things, as listed above… I also got a really neat metallic stamp/ink pad thing… I could spend so much money at walmart, lol… especially during the night when there aren’t tons of people there, lots of neat little things to be found in the often deserted parts of the store, especially the craft section!

Oh, and I heard something somewhat hilarious… instead of suicide bombers, and the descendant term of “homicide bombers” that some wanted to use… and of course there’s that islamists term… now we have the best: Islamikazes.

Davey has been pixelized!

Even though I’m absolutely nobody on deviantart, it’s neat to have my boyfriend pixelized, hehe.

Well, I should qualify this by stating that I legally have an Apple developer software seed key. So, I downloaded betas of the latest OS X, version 10.2. Only one of the discs would burn sucessfully, out of the three, so it was a massive waste of time really. The first and developer tools discs would freak out on closing the disc, so they might still work, but nowhere to be exactly sure.

Now the problem is that a rather huge chunk of HD space is now missing. When I started I had about 11.something gigs free on the tiny 20GB drive. Now I have less space… and I can’t find what is taking up the space either! After cleaning out most everything I can find to delete I have just 9.18GB free. I’m a bit annoyed… having made four cdr coasters…. and now still missing the space, after deleting the disc images… damnit!

HAH! RIAA website gets DoS’d!
