The Randomness.
The new harddrive came yesterday, err, Wednesday, put it in, it’s super silent, and was able to copy all the mp3s over. I tried using the old failing harddrive and indeed it worked for a short while, but then started to sound like a can opener. Oh well… it’s definitely fodder for the trash bin.
I painted part of the kitchen yesterday and hung up three super sturdy shelves in place of the old hanging cabinet. I think that’s going to work so much better… it certainly looks a million times better.
Matthew came over tonight and we watched Donnie Darko, and really I must say it was a good film. He was considerably late… he called at ten until ten… and didn’t get here until, uhm… midnight? I say “Traffic?” heh… it takes, errm, fifteen minutes normally to get across town, not two hours. Oh well, I wasn’t quite at the point of hunting him down and rendering a beating.
Of course, no offense to him, but the lack of promptness is something I’ve rather grown accustomed to over the months, which is why I was so shocked twice this week by the promptness of two others I had meetings scheduled with. I’ve not exactly been known for being ontime much in the past year either, truth be told.
Seryozha, whom I’d not seen in, maybe two years, I know I’ve not talked to him at all in practically that long… well he came up Monday night. Dennys, ick, but he wanted to go there… next time I suggest we cook here at the homestead, instead, lol. He was ontime, lol… if the whole idea of seeing him wasn’t shocking enough, promptness certainly was.
Oh, and yes, I met the secret agent, and it brought about the rapture.
…and if that doesn’t make any sense, don’t worry, it wouldn’t to anyone but me, and maybe two others… but the rapture has something to do with a song I was listening to on Tuesday, heh…
